The Qur’an’s Messiah Problem
The Qur’an fires off at Christians for saying, “The Messiah is the Son of Allah.” It follows the statement with an anathema: “May Allah condemn them!” (Qur’an 9:30). But here’s where things get awkward: Who exactly taught Christians to call the Messiah God’s Son in the first place? The prophets did. The very prophets and Scriptures the Qur’an claims to confirm.
